SOMA hosts a visual concert, presented by the KorSonoR Biennale and Ensemble Vide. The biennale runs from October 22 to November 16, 2025.

A fusion of sound and visuals, this performance invites artists to collaborate across disciplines to create a unique, multi-dimensional experience for the audience.

Valby is a Danish vocal ensemble, featuring Lil Lacy, Cæcilie Trier, Sonja LaBianca, and Anja Jacobsen, works with graphic scores and explores infinite combinations of rhythms and melodies. Their compositions blend diverse musical influences through both composition and improvisation. With their new 2025 album Solids for Voices, the group delves deeply into vocal and rhythmic expression. This performance marks their Swiss debut.

Inspired by Valby’s graphic scores – colorful dots and discs within squares – visual artist Francis Baudevin creates animated video patterns using elements from his own work. These rotating visuals are projected in large format during the concert, enveloping the audience in a dynamic play of light and movement. The interplay between media is open to interpretation, inviting each viewer to chart their own path through the luminous experience.
